For someone who has been exposed to showbiz for over half of his life, Robin Padilla has grown accustomed to its ‘system’, including its underlying issues of injustice among its artists.
Thus, in a recent interview with Push, it wasn’t surprising that the veteran actor – being only himself – would be compelled to speak openly about the industry. This, in light of his shocking decision to lie low from showbiz for the coming days.
With mention of his wife Mariel Rodriguez, Robin admitted that the ‘injustice’ also takes its toll in his personal life.
However, the 48-year-old said that he has no control over the situation at the end of the day.
“Wala tayong magagawa, may humihingi ng tulong. Alangan namang isipin mo pa yung take home pay mo. Kalokohan yon.”
