Riding a train is a very common everyday habit of almost everyone in a country. It is one of the main land transportation used in many regions. But what if the usual became unusual after discovering a dead body travelling inside the train with you for hours?
This creepy event happened way back in 1991 and yet when people hear this story for the first time, they can’t help but feel terrified.
In a report published by The New York Daily News in June 15, 1991, the dead man rode a subway where thousands of commuters were aboard. They claimed that no one almost noticed the dead man because it was during the rush hour and he seemed to be just falling asleep. Witnesses were only alarmed when some of them noticed that he remained motionless while riding the moving vehicle. Some only thought that he was just taking a nap before he drops off. Police authorities were only called when they tried to wake him up but he did not respond.
Investigations showed that the man was a Hispanic native and was identified as Ignacio Mendez, 38 years old. They claimed that he might have suffered heart attack which resulted to his death. His dead body also told them that he might have been dead for 5 to 6 hours before passengers noticed him. When the story about him was published, no one noticed which station he boarded or whether he was accompanied by someone.
