These days, almost everyone’s using makeup to enhance their looks. But then, there’s this woman who’s not using her makeup skills to enhance her look, but rather to do a jaw-dropping optical illusion that could really blow your mind!
This Filipina artist who was identified as Letisha Velasco is a young makeup artist from Pangasinan, Philippines who now rises to fame on social media after her works of art went viral. Apparently, Letisha is a person who could transform herself into literally anything!
At first, you might think that the problem is in your eyes, but then, it turns out that our minds are being tricked by her impressive work of art! Yes, her artworks are both amazing and mind-boggling!
The works of this Filipina artist was dubbed as an art drawn to her face and she believes that her face is the perfect canvass for her talent.
However, this isn’t the first time that she topped the headlines online for her greatness. In fact, a few years ago, she used her makeup skills to imitate the looks of the popular artists, Beyonce, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Angelina Jolie.
Letisha said: “I’ve always had a passion for drawing and I’ve loved playing around with make-up since I was twelve.
“When I was fourteen, I decided to combine my hobbies and tried to make myself look like one of my idols, Angelina Jolie.
“I was really pleased with how it turned out, so I decided to try and transform myself into other celebrities with different face shapes.
“Every new face was a challenge and I really enjoyed seeing what I could do with shading and highlighting.
“Now, I’m constantly flicking through Instagram to see who else I can try.”
But of course, when she’s going out with her friends, she’s not wearing her optical illusions.
“As soon as I have taken a photograph of my face, I remove all of the make-up,” she explained. “I never go out in public with my transformation makeup on.”
“I really love trying different transformations, but we’re all beautifully unique—and I think we should embrace it.”
